Don't ask me why a Generation 3 Collector is using a Generation 1 Pokedex to scan a Generation 4 Zubat or how he got his hands on a Master ball because it's much too convoluted to even begin. Let's just say this Collector likes to live in the past and decided to go outside his comfort zone, much to the chagrin of our Angry Eyed Zubat
(Malocular Zetuchiroptera or Bad-Eye Z-Bat).

This image, man. 7 Reference Images to make it! I will also note that I still have no idea what the back of a Pokedex from any generation looks like, so I just used my camera phone as a model. It is currently open as referenced by that little section that is shorter to the left of the thumb. That hand (the one holding the Pokedex) was believe it or not, the hardest thing for me to draw and make it look right. Mostly due to the fact that I had to use my own hand as a reference and a Collector's hand was going to have meatier fingers than mine. The other hand could have had thicker fingers but I wanted to have it look like he was holding the ball and not have to draw the precarious balance between size of the Pokeball and his hand.

Continuing with pencil drawing week. Here's some context: I do this because I was worried I would make a lot of mistakes (which I did) and didn't want to use up a ton of sketchbook paper drawing and redrawing the image repeatedly. (I ended up using four to get this image.) I also drew this at the beach and didn't have my pen on me, so I drew this up and once satisfied, created darker lines with the pencil so I could scan it in later. Fun fact this was actually the second drawing of the week because I thought it would be easier to draw than number 4. :V

Another comic for the collection.

Oops, forgot to sign this one, oh well.
